Johnson & Johnson Innovation Presents: How to Foster a Speak Up Culture Where all Employees Feel Psychologically Safe Webinar Series (Session 1)

Incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into the fabric of your organization is an ambitious, but very achievable goal. There is voluminous research proving that diverse teams are more innovative, productive, and resourceful, and achieve greater financial success than their not-so-diverse peers. But harnessing the power of a diverse workforce can only be maximized when all employees feel supported, safe, and empowered to speak up.

This workshop focuses on how to foster a psychologically safe space within a start-up environment. Participants will learn how to support a speak-up culture in which everyone feels comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work.

The panelists will discuss several important and related issues, including:

- Identifying the most essential elements of psychological safety

- Overcoming the challenges that inhibit open and honest interactions in the workplace

- Articulating the ways in which leaders and managers can make your company’s culture feel safe

- Specifying the ways in which your organization can foster a speak-up culture

The session will be an interactive and open conversation, allowing you the opportunity to offer your impressions and questions with the goal of gaining a clear and nuanced understanding of how to foster a speak-up culture where all employees feel psychologically safe.
