NSF presents I-Corps Summer Teams Sessions- Cohort #2: Hosted by New England Regional I-Corps Node Program (Virtual)

June 28 - July 1, 2021
1:00-4:00 PM EST

For More Information: https://www.nsf.gov/news/special_reports/i-corps/teams.jsp

The NSF Innovation Corps (I-Corps™) Teams have three primary members: the technical lead, the entrepreneurial lead and the I-Corps mentor. All three members of the team participate fully in the I-Corps Curriculum, which provides real-world, hands-on, immersive learning about what it takes to successfully transfer knowledge into products and processes that benefit society. Approximately 20 to 30 teams will participate together in the curriculum as part of an I-Corps Cohort. Dates for upcoming cohorts are below.

The I-Corps Curriculum is not about how to write a research paper, business plan or NSF proposal. The result is not a publication or a deck of slides or even a scientific discovery. Instead, the entire I-Corps Team will be engaged with industry; talking to customers, partners and competitors; and encountering the uncertainty and excitement of creating successful innovations. Getting out of the university laboratory to explore the commercial potential is what the effort is about.
