As research monitoring and compliance paradigms evolve, human subject research teams are challenged to ensure quality in research maintains or exceeds expectations and standards. In this program, attendees will learn about a risk-based auditing program, identifying key elements for an effective research compliance program, and will be able to describe human subject research quality improvement (QI) activities and the rationale of such activities in promoting the safety and well-being of research subjects through a discussion about:

  • REDCap use in a QI program
  • Use of QI metrics in the AMC setting and to support compliance throughout the human research protection program
  • Assessing and analyzing high-risk findings in human subject research
