NCET2 and AIChE have partnered
to showcase the best startups to corporate venture and investors in the chemical sector
Join us as we partner with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and bring together industry leaders, researchers, chemical venture start-ups, venture capitalists, and angel investors at the 2019 Chemical Ventures Conference (2019 CVC), April 23 – 24, in Wilmington, DE.
NCET2 is organizing a startup showcase at the event. We are looking for eight (8) startups with new and innovative technologies that use chemistry to solve problems in materials, clean technology, biotechnology, agriculture, energy, electronics, and other sectors. Qualifying startups will be invited to pitch to corporate venture groups and investors in the chemical space.
HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR STARTUP
  • Send your non-confidential pitch deck to submissions@ncet2.org and put "Chemical Ventures Conference" in the subject.
  • Final deadline for submissions is on March 1, 2019.
NCET2 CREATED THE NATIONAL ANGELS TO FUND STARTUPS ACROSS THE COUNTRY
Startups applying to the NCET2/2019 CVC showcase will also be considered for investments by the National Angels under the Corporate-Startup Development Program. The National Angels was specifically created by NCET2 to invest in startups with Fortune 500 interest. The National Angels invests in companies in the following technical areas: Pharma/Med, Chemicals & Clean Tech, Advanced Manufacturing, and Information & Communication Technology. Investments range from $150,000 to $2 million.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Chemical Ventures Conference focuses on innovation, investment, and deal flow in the chemical space. The chemical ventures space has a large untapped opportunity. It comes with a longer investment cycle with the potential for continued repeated and predictable financial performance in comparison to competing industries. Presentations include the role of venturing in the chemical industry, start-up strategies, M&A, licensing, structuring deals, examples and lessons learned, financial investing, and more.
