Rensselaer Lally School of Management Presents-The 2023 Invest Capital Region: Life Sciences + Healthcare (Registration Closes on April 19th)

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Lally School of Management will host Invest Capital Region: Life Sciences + Healthcare to showcase emerging startups, invite investors to the Capital Region, and build connections within and across the investment, research, and entrepreneurial ecosystems.

Please join us on Wednesday, April 26, for an afternoon of thought leadership at Pat’s Barn in Troy, New York, from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m. for an engaging conversation and presentations. Please note that this is the rescheduled event from March’s snowstorm and some programming has been added, including regional collaborations between higher education institutions and universities.

The agenda includes:

11:30 a.m.: Registration and Networking

12:30 p.m.: Welcome from the Lally School of Management, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

12:45 p.m.: The Future of Research and Commercialization at Rensselaer (Dr. Robert Hull)

1:30 p.m.: Research Translation Group (Five presentations from regional research and business teams)

3:15 p.m.: Investment-Ready Group (Five pitches from regional life sciences startups)

4:50 p.m.: Fireside Chat: How to Build the Life Sciences Ecosystem in the Capital Region (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute President Dr. Martin A. Schmidt; New York Ventures Senior Director Life Sciences Silvia Garcia Codony; and Vikram Agrawal, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Alumni and co-founder/CEO of Levrx.)
